Compliance

The two checks

Every product is checked on its own, not waved through because its brand passed once. Two things have to be on file before it's listed.

  1. An explicit authorised distributor statement for that brand, from the distributor's own listing. A general assurance that the stock is genuine doesn't count; it has to name the brand.
  2. A UK Responsible Person on record for the product, confirmed in writing. That's the role the Cosmetic Products Enforcement Regulations 2013 make accountable for a product's safety file in this market.

Anything that fails either check doesn't get listed.

Ask about a specific product

If you want to know where a specific unit came from, email {{support_email}} and we'll tell you what we hold for it.

For how {{brand_name}} talks about what these products do, see the claims section on the about page.
